About

Joanna is a New Jersey Shore based photographer and designer. She loves all things coast & ocean, and enjoys nothing more than exploring the outdoors with her Fujifilm camera in hand. Born and raised in Poland at the Baltic Sea, the sound of waves and the smell of salt in the air have been a part of her life from the very start.

Once settled down in Red Bank, NJ, she got right to work exploring and photographing the near by coastline. While Joanna absolutely loves to travel, her favorite is photographing places close-to-home. In doing so she deepened familiarity with her surroundings… developed an intimate connection, that lets her discover the not-so-obvious beauty, right next door. 

Joanna has studied photography and design at the Fine Art Academy in Gdansk, Poland, and at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She has worked at Simon & Schuster, Scribner and Kate Spade, among others.
